Wolverine Christian Service Camp - Home

Wolverine Christian Service Camp started because of a need from the churches in Southeastern Michigan during the mid 1950's. For the first 20 years Wolverine's camp program was held on rented properties across the state. In 1974 WCSC bought the land in Columbiaville were camp is held today. In 1975 Wolverine held it's first summer camp on their new property. It started as a large corn field and all the buildings have been added on one at a time. Back in the summer of 1975 when camp began there was only one building available for use– they would take the campers to an area church for all meals. By the end of the summer in 1975 however the camp had two dorms up and running and a kitchen/dining facility in use. Today you can see great things are happening at Wolverine. We hope to have a winter program up and running by 2008.
