Will my Child be safe?
Wolverine goes to great lengths to keep a safe environment. We keep at least a 10 to 1 student/facility ratio during waking hours and at least a 14 to 1 ratio during sleeping hours. A health officer is always present during camp. The health officer will be a certified medical first responder, RN, LPN, or PHD.
What should my child pack?
- Wash cloth and 2 towels
- Sleeping bag with single bed sheet
- Pillow
- 6 tee shirts
- 5 pairs of socks
- 2-3 pairs of jeans
- 1 pair of tennis shoes
- 4-5 pairs of shorts
- 1 pair of sandals/water shoes
- 1-2 pairs of pajamas
- 5 pairs of underwear
- Flashlight
- Toiletries
- Plastic bag for laundry
- Sun and bug protection
- Bible
Other suggestions (not required)
- Camera with extra film
- Notebook and pens
- Stationary, envelops and stamps
- Money for canteen and missions
Is their anything he should leave at home?
Please DO NOT Bring
- Cell phones/pagers
- Expensive clothing or jewelry
- Music devices (ipods, walkmans, etc.)
- Alcohol, tobacco, or fireworks of any kind!
- Weapons (i.e. pocket knifes)
- Handheld video games
- Comic Books, magazines, etc.
When do I drop off my child?
All Week long programs start on Sundays at 3:00pm. Shorter programs that start on weekdays will start at 5:00pm.
When do I pick up my child?
Pick up will be at 7:00pm on Friday
What do I do with my child's prescription and over the counter medications?
DO NOT PACK YOUR CHILD MEDS IN THEIR BAG.
All meds will be dropped off with the health officer at check-in. No meds are kept in the dorms.
